The Magnum Metalz Rodholder & Downrigger Quick Removal Base.
The Magnum Metalz Quick Removal base allows you to quickly remove any Magnum Products from your boat leaving a small, 3" x 3" "T" plate. Simply Slide downrigger or rod holder in to position until the locking pin snaps in to place. When time for removal, pull pin on side of base and slide out. The Quick removal base will mount directly to the Magnum Metalz mounting plate or any Conversion/adapter plate we make. Then, simply mount the desired downrigger, rodholder or mast to the top and your good to go. Comes with 4 screws for mounting to existing mounting plate.
Awesome machining and quality. The only downside is the bases tapped holes are different than pictured on website. For my application I had to correct how they were tapped. Such high quality product I still give it a five star rating
Beautifully designed and precisely manufactured. Very small footprint and extremely strong. I through-bolted with a backer plate and used it to mount a quad rod holder.
